As much as we enjoyed our trip and spending time with family, it is great to be home, even if it is so hot here in Texas.

Shortest day of the year

Yesterday was a beautiful calm and sunny day, perfect for the beach.........

And some cold water is not enough to keep this boy out of the ocean.  This is Rabbit Island, the same beach where the kite pictures in the blog header above were taken.

Thomas tried to fly the kite again, not much luck, but he tried!

Antique store fix

My sister and I went to a couple of antique shops in town yesterday.  I took some pictures at my favorite one.  So sad I can not buy anything big, the suitcase can only fit so much to bring home, but I did buy a couple of plates and a vase.
