Here's my easy decorating Christmas mantel. I mostly used what I already had, the only new things are the green star ($5 from Big Lots) and the garland and green berries (Dollar tree).
We have a tree and some more Christmas decorating around here too, but I haven't taken pictures yet of the tree all decorated yet.
We went to a Christmas tree farm and cut our own tree for the first time:

Hi there! I just wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog.
I noticed that you also have a window above your fireplace. That's one of my biggest design challenges with our living room (very little space above the mantel).
I like your Christmas decorations. The blue is very pretty!
Hello! I am glad you fixed your 'comments' button! :) I wanted to say that I LOVE the things you have on your mantle: the green berries, green star, the blue mason jar -- everything works so well together! And your kids look cute too! ;)
Best,
Gloria
I love finding a fellow Texas blogger! I came over from The Lettered Cottage and love your natural inspired mantel. Very fun and green and festive! Great job!
Pretty! It is so hard to decorate a mantle with a window over it. I had one at our last home and it was such a challenge.
Anna I love the colors you used. That shade of green looks so nice with the aqua. Sure love that mason jar, too. :)
I was unable to comment for the logest time!! Well I just wanted to say I love your mantle! We just decorated ours and I was going to post also since the kids have been in a much merrier spirit since! I love the blue and green so much!
