Thrift Store Thursday - Goodwill goodies and chalkboard paint

It's Thursday again and I'm sharing this weeks Goodwill finds and my first chalkboard paint projects.

This week I found this big frame at Goodwill - I think it came with some kind of calendar originally - it was $1.99 but it was 30% off. I also bought Kate a pair of red crocs for $2.99, and another basket for 49c.

Here is what I did with the frame - used chalkboard spray paint and painted the frame with paint left over from my kitchen project. It is in my laundry room by the door out to the garage.

but while the spray paint is around I grabbed a couple of other frames I had in the closet (I took these pics of the kids out first)

a short while later..... new chalkboards for my pantry doors. I wanted to paint direct on the doors but thought I would try these frames first then it is more temporary if I change my mind later

I love that you turned the frame into a chalkboard! It looks like that's what it was meant to be.
Glad you joined!

Love how you transformed such a fabulous find into a fabulous chalkboard. The two chalkboards on the pantry doors are a great idea!

Thanks for sharing!
