Favorite projects of 2009

here is the "before" of the kitchen, when we moved into the house in April. I love brown, but it was taking away from the pretty countertops and backsplash.


I don't have any major plans for painting around the house in 2010, but maybe I'll find some more thrifty pieces of furniture that can be fixed up with paint!

Wow, wow, wow. I think my favorite is the kitchen, we just redid ours and I know the time and effort that had to tske. GREAT JOB AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Wow, Anna...nice work! That chair makeover is incredible. I stay away from those 1970's pieces, but you have shown me that I am a fool. :) I love how you updated it, yet made it look like it was from a better furniture era than the 70's. Make sense? And I love the red bed and repainted kitchen. Much better!

My fav is your kitchen but as I looked through your blog, I have to say I love all your fabulous transformations.. I painted my kitchen cabs too and hope to get new pictures by friday. Hope you'll stop by and look..
